Making a difference
At FADNE we pride ourselves on getting things done. We network, lobby and cajole and collaborate with major stakeholders locally and nationally to ensure the voice and interests the North East food, drink and hospitality sector is heard and acted upon. Here are some of the things we’ve been up to lately.
We’re hosting a Winter Social event at Cantina for all FADNE Community members on Thursday 30th November 2023.
The survey which is open to the full breadth of businesses across the North East’s visitor economy until 24 November 2023 investigates skills gaps and workforce issues and explores approaches to training and development.
The ability to network and collaborate with other local businesses trading at the Artisan Autumn Fayre was one of the unexpected highlights for many of the businesses who attended the event.
Defra is hosting a one-day event for North East food and drink SMEs on Thursday 16th November at the Royal Station Hotel in Newcastle.
Visit the Pavilion and Terrace at The Alnwick Garden from Friday 20th – Sunday 22nd October for a special Artisan Autumn Fayre to celebrate The Alnwick Garden’s NE66 weekend.

Unique pop-up market at Fenwick Food Hall in Newcastle to celebrate local, new and emerging food brands
From Thursday 10th August – Friday 11th August, the Food Hall at Fenwick, Newcastle will be transformed into a Local Heroes Pop-up Market to showcase exciting food and drink brands from regional food entrepreneurs and producers.
