Speaking From Experience Programme

Specifically designed for the North East food and drink sector, sink your teeth into a feast of workshops and training resources that will give you the confidence to plan ahead for the future.

The Speaking From Experience programme features a jam-packed schedule of speakers, specialists and food entrepreneurs who will help you see how to maximise your business’s potential in a changing world.

Taking the form of six weekly workshops, the Speaking From Experience programme includes discourse and discussion on the following topics:

The impact of COVID-19
People management, risks and wellbeing
Planning with purpose
Figuring out finance
Mastering marketing and digital
Developing effective sales channels

The workshops are delivered by Zoom webinar on a weekly basis, with each of the sessions recorded and uploaded to our online learning academy so that delegates can re-watch sessions or tune in at a time that suits them. Each webinar lasts approximately three hours, with morning and afternoon session slots available.

Each workshop is very interactive with the businesses participating enjoying peer-to-peer networking, learning from like-minded entrepreneurs, asking questions to our panel of experts, and sharing stories of success and failure to help everyone grow. We have already ran the Speaking From Experience programme for over 20 companies who all found the business insights from their peers invaluable.

This workshop series from mid-April onwards is sponsored by NELEP and fully-funded. Available to those who live in Northumberland, North Tyneside, Newcastle, Gateshead, South Tyneside, County Durham, Darlington and Bishop Auckland. Places are limited so click here to register your interest now.
