FADNE contribute to submission to the Net Zero Review Call for Evidence

Nov 1, 2022

As an Innovation Associate of the National Innovation Centre for Rural Enterprise, FADNE has made a valuable contribution to Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) – through the Net Zero Review Call for Evidence.

Our project ‘Delivering the Goods’ explores solutions to shorten food supply chains and improve operational efficiency in last-mile logistics. The work focuses on tackling performance barriers and environmental impediments to improve sustainability in transport and logistics by fostering low-carbon delivery solutions.

Based at the Newcastle Helix site in Newcastle City Centre, The National Innovation Centre for Rural Enterprise (NICRE) undertakes research and knowledge exchange to inform policy, foster the innovation and resilience of rural businesses, and unlock the potential of rural economies across the UK. FADNE looks forward to continuing our important work together.

Visit the NICRE website for more information about their work.
